Our online competitors sell 5/16” thickness mosaics and tiles in their online stores. The thickness of our European tiles and mosaics is 3/8”. The recommended thickness of a marble floor tile from the Marble Institute of America is 3/8" (10 mm). Our tiles and mosaics are 25% thicker and stronger than our online competitors. Most of our mosaic sheets cover a larger area than our competitors. Competitors may have thinner tiles or fewer individual pieces. I ordered a sample of this basketweave last week and was very impressed with it. So I ordered enough for the floors of two bathrooms that I am renovating now. I ordered a few days ago and the shipment came today. Fast and efficient. The marble is gorgeous and of very high quality. I am thrilled. This is not the first time I have renovated a bathroom floor with Carrara basketweave marble but it is the first time I have bought from carraramarble.com. The prices are half - or better - than what this costs through a retail store or a contractor. The quality is superb. I was really impressed. The tiles look much better in person than online. I used them for my bathroom floor and I love it! The quality is great.
