Carrara Marble requires use of Stone Cleaners only. Marble cleaners are available at any hardware store, home improvement center and many supermarkets carry stone cleaners. If installed on the floor, use a soft cleaning pad of vacuum to remove any grit. Next use a cleaner specifically made for marble as regular household products are too harsh, abrasive or contain chemicals that will harm the stone. Regular dish detergent may contain fat/oils, chemicals or dyes that will darken the color and leave a residue.
